January Update/Spring Schedule

Hi ladies! We had a nice mellow meeting making ziti casseroles last Monday night. We missed those of you who weren't able to join us! We did do a little planning and here's our tentative schedule for this spring.

• February - Monday Feb. 18th - Claire is going to show the movie Chocolat as a test run of the Chocolate Boutique retreat materials. We will start a bit early at 6:45 pm as the movie runs a bit over two hours. Chocolate and popcorn treats will be provided by Michelle.
• March - Monday March 17th - Program TBD - will update when we know more. Sarah Ogdon's bringing snacks.
• April - Monday, April 21st - Hoping to schedule this evening at Garden of Beadin for a crafts night. Claire will be bringing treats.
• May - Friday, May 16th (Ten.) - Switching to Friday night to do our circle's annual kitchen cleaning, followed by some sort of Girls Night Out. Right now the plan is to go out to dinner, hopefully somewhere interesting (maybe try Medici's?).

Wesley dinner: We've been approached by the Higher Ed committee to help provide a dinner for the Wesley Foundation some Sunday evening. Dates available include February 10, 17, & 24, March 2 and 30th. My thought was we should pick something after our February meeting -- perhaps the 24th or March 2nd date. Anyone have ideas on dates or easy dinners? I know the Italian Beef supper has worked well in the past. Post in comments below.

UMW Getaway Planning: The first planning meeting for the UMW Getaway retreat will be Monday, February 4th at 6:30 pm at Fusion Brew in Normal (off Route 51). If you are interested in helping, e-mail Claire or just show up!
