March business

Hello Ruths! So we spent a very nice evening last Wednesday learning about the history of St. Patrick's Day and the evolution of the Easter holiday, compliments of Jenny Laudner! We missed those of you who weren't there -- hopefully we can catch up next month.

By the way, our next meeting will be Monday, April 21st at 7pm at Garden of Beadin. We will be preparing for Mother's Day and making jewelry for some of the important women in our lives.

One important item of business from our last meeting. Our circle will be hosting the UMW meeting on Wednesday, April 2nd at 1pm. It's a dessert session at which Carolyn Yockey is putting on the program, and we will be providing chocolate and angel food cakes, along with strawberries, cool whip, munchies, and punch. We did a sign-up for the goods which follows below, but we could still definitely use individuals to help set-up and serve . If you are interested in attending, shout at us in the comments below.

Chocolate cakes (1 ea)-- Claire and Karen
Angel food cakes (1 ea) -- Michelle and Erin
Strawberries and Cool Whip - Sarah

I was reminded this weekend that I haven't seen some of you in a while, and I have not widely circulated Steve and I's big news. Hit http://babyeaster.blogspot.com for an update. Prayers appreciated! And for anyone who was wondering after last week, it is indeed a shy one!

Hope all is well with you, that you had wonderful Easter holidays with your families and that we see you soon. Take care!
