Hi ladies -- Hope your summers are going well. Things have been busy for us here at the Easter house, but I wanted to drop a note about some ongoing summer Ruth business.
Ruth Circle has been asked to provide dinner for our new minister John McIntosh and his wife for the evening of June 29th. Claire has volunteered to make a dish, and I imagine we would need about two more plus dessert. Volunteers to help? Leave notes in the comments below, and someone will be in touch about coordinating the meal.
Speaking of June 29th, that's the same day as the United Methodist Women garden walk. I still have letters/tickets for a few individuals that may find their way to postal mail soon. Also, Claire let me know recently that she and Sarah Ogdon are currently the only volunteer drivers for the garden walk, and we still could use some more. If you can possibly volunteer to help drive, can you let us know in the comments below?
Also, I had spoken earlier with Kathy Gossard about volunteers for child care for the attic sale. Some individuals have stepped forward to help with child care during sorting, but she mentioned that they could still use assistance the day of the sale, Friday, July 25th. If you are interested in this effort, could you please give Kathy a call? Let me know know if you contact information.

I can probably make (or purchase) a green salad or dessert for the meal. Julie and Claire, I will be in touch. Anyone else?
